Spencer is a Senior Investment Advisor with HollisWealth – Scotia Capital Inc, an Insurance Advisor with HollisWealth Insurance Agency Ltd and has extensive experience working with individuals and business owners in helping them manage their wealth and retirement plans so that they can achieve their long term financial goals.

Spencer was educated at the University of British Columbia where he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree. While completing his degree, he played varsity baseball for the UBC Thunderbirds. His passion for investing and working with people has led him to pursue a career as an Investment Advisor and he is proud to represent the HollisWealth – Scotia Capital name. As the investment landscape evolves, Spencer firmly believes in the importance of maintaining a high level of education and he has completed several industry courses that allow him to provide a number of alternative investments to clients. He is options licensed so he is qualified to buy and sell options to try and reduce risk and enhance income in client’s portfolios. Spencer has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and in 2013 earned the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.

Spencer’s passion for investing is only exceeded by the love for his family. He currently resides in Port Moody with his wife Gina and two daughters, Mollie and Piper. When he is not in the workplace, Spencer enjoys spending time with his family, running, skiing, hiking, and playing baseball…..And studying the art of value investing.
